Installing timing chain

I'm installing the timing chain on my 06 vector and in the manual it says to put cyl 3 on tdc and the trouble is when looking threw the hole in cover at the mark on the magneto rotor . There is one line and there is two lines right after the first which one do you use. It is the same as a nitro. Any help would be great

the marks which are close together put the pointer in the center of the two
