Installing Main Spring in Recoil Case

Tips? Tricks? Is the mounting lug the opening in the circle that the end of the spring slides over? For the life of me I can't get it in.

Wind the spring outside the case and tie it in the wound up position with a piece of tag wire. Install the pre-wound spring in the case and then cut the tag wire and carefully remove it while holding the spring seated in the case.

Thanks guys got it finally. Just ended up winding in my hand and carefully placing into the recoil circle.
