mcx turbo, stock pump is not giving enough gas. dealer is ordering all the parts, pump, regulator and fuel return. has anyone done one and have pictures and should you leave stock pump on or? any help thanks!

mcx kit gets rid of the stock pump...uses the stock pick up sox in the tank. easy install 2 hrs tops.. fuel pump/regulator goes up by the intercooler. its a really easy install ...just check your regulator pressure when done and make sure its set at stock yamaha pressure in the book.

MAKE SURE you place o-ring from pick up sox to the mcx pick up tube or it will suck air when the fuel is low...that what i was told and it makes sense.

Okay mine 2 years old and we are adding this on, so i'm not sure the dealer is doing a mcx kit? Just said he would have all the parts and it needed a return from pump to tank as the new pump needed to circulate. Makes sence just curious for tips . Thanks robertyoke you been very help full!

Yes the external fuel pump will have a return line back to the tank and your stock pump will be eliminated. Hopefully he gets you the mcx plate to put over the stock fuel pump location. The install is easy. Take your time on the routing of the fuel lines. They can be a PITA if they are not ran right.
