Installing BD kitt and the engine light is on?!

Is the engine light supposed to light after you installed the BD kit?

i haven't installed my kit yet, but i'm thinking no. are there any flash codes on the display? that would help narrow down where the problem might be.
on another note, i know there is a service engine light when you hit service intervals on the IQ sleds.... i just turned mine off seeing as my sled gets noone elses hands dirty on it but mine!

It just ligths.

See if you can get it hooked up to the digital wrench... That'll tell you.

But I had check engine light start of the year and it turned out to be TPS , "tps voltage low" and then I had something like 135 "tps unrealistic transition"... New tps all is fine now and light is gone.

Did you remember to connect the air temperature reader to the harness and zipt tir it to the frame? Sits on the smallest stock airbox piece.forgot this on my first turbo build, and engine light came on.

Check all your connections, especially your egt probe connection. Sometimes when you remove your pipe it will pull on the harness and come apart without you knowing.

you can pull up codes on your display, it should not be on, must have unhooked something. if you get the code on here we can helpe better

Have checked the cables but not found anything, going to a dealer and check those today, will be back with info

The problem is solved, the cables above the injection that messed up for me.
Now, the job with the amount of fuel begins ...
