Installing a Diamond S mesh hood

Hey just curious what is the best way attach these. I have extra hood straps but where is the best spot to put them on a M. Thanks

I put mine on the side. I have not got to try it get but it seems pretty sturdy. I've also seen a lot of them with the straps on the way front, but I didn't have much room after I riveted a plastic piece up front to keep the snow out.

i was looking at shawn hastings sled and i installed my carbon fiber hood the same way and im going to do my diamond s just go to any hardware store and get pins with with spring loaded balls on the end and just put the pins on them here is a camera pic

Great Idea-Might have to try that as well!

I had a diamond S hood for a 2005 m sled and I used four rubber tie downs like the ones on the mountain fit hoods and put the rubber straps on the hood and left just the hooks on the sled so that if I took the hood off I didn't have the straps flapping in the wind. I put one on each side just behind the front bumper and then the other two in the stock location.
