My sled: 2004 AC 1M 900(1000cc now 204hp) 159"

Bought track 162" Attack 20.
Wanting to run backwards and needing to know what all I need to change for this mod.
Anti-ratchet Spockets? size? Who sells them installed on shaft ?
Drill tunnel and move skid back or just buy new\used 162" rails?
I'm know how to fab\weld but this is all new to Me.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

A-20, Anti-ratchets, drop brackets = Anti-stab kit!

I think there is a factory part number for a driveshaft with drivers. I would look up all parts for 05 or 06 Kingcat. I would buy rails to convert. You might think about aftermarket ones. Compare the price? I bent the stock ones once. If you are a jumper, for sure go with the stronger ones. I would also get an Anti-stab kit for sure! I had to trim the stock rails to clear the drivers after I put drop brackets on. Then I stabbed a track. The best advise I can give when going to a 3.0 pitch track and anti ratchet drivers, is a anti-stab kit for sure. My dealer had seen bone stock Kingcats stab tracks and have the rail tips rub on the drivers. My sled (05 KK) is stock except the drop brackets. Good luck, There is alot of good info on here about this. Just start searchin. You can PM me if you want any help. -00's

aftermarket drivers are cheaper I am sure. Also I went from 159 - 162 on 2 sleds with 9 inch wheels in the rear. Ir works PERFECT and looks nice. Get a Mountain machines axel and a pair of 9 inch plastic wheels (unless you want to waste some money on billet wheels) and you are set. I can remember if I bought avid drivers or whal bros. I think i have avids.

One more ?

Rixter,
So you did just 9" wheels and drivers with 159" rails? I wondered if that would work but didn't know if there is enough adjustment.

a 20

go with the over size wheels or change rails i would use ice age rails not stock, anti ratchets with the anti stab kit, try to find someone parting out a king and get the shaft with drivers, or swap your drivers(easy to do with a press, or have done).. I have pics with measurements on trimming the rails if you go with anti's had mine in a few times to get it right because i didnt want to take off more than necessary..pm me with any questions or if you want the pics....

attack 20

I just had Fastrax remove my attack 20 and 3.0, 8 tooth anti ratchet drivers. They are used but for sale. PM me for questions.

The 159 rails will work, Are actually stronger than the 162 cracking rails. One thing you could do is mount the exterior braces on the inside by swapping sides and cutting .50 off the crossbar. Just get another shaft and 3" drivers and your set. But I would get the antistab wheels and loose the plastic overlg. end caps for driver clearance.

Not sure what you mean about the braces?
