Installed my new Burandt tunnel bag

I was just wondering if anyone else has installed one yet, mine seems a little loose on the tunnel and kinda slides forward and backward. Does anyone know if there is a trick to this?

Do you have any pics installed. I have one on the way. Would be nice to hear what others think

Didn't notice it with mine. I had to push down pretty hard and turn clockwise to get the locks engaged the first time. I did one end, then stretched the bag out before locking the other end. Are you having trouble with the locks sliding in the grooves?
Tom

Got mine installed today and I know what you mean it definitely had a little bit of movement in the tracks maybe I didn't tighten them enough but I don't see how it could be any tighter. I have a feeling that's the trade off for being so easy to remove.

Big boys toys in Utah just had a bunch come in but it's fairly easy to install in the rails, just moves around a little bit. I thought I had everything tightened down but I'll double check! Overall I like the bag, I thought it had a hard lid but its still pretty nice!

I had to wrench on the nut pretty good to get mine tightened all the way. Attached it and she doesn't move a bit.

True on that last. I used a socket and ratchet. Made sure the nut is bottomed since it is self lock and feels tight all the way in.

Thanks for the posts - I got mine Saturday and am installing it tonight. I was not too impressed with the appearance of the bag when I took it out of the box - hope it looks better installed.

Yea i felt the same way with the appearance of mine when i took it out of the box, i have it installed and im hoping it looks a little better after it gets broken in a little bit. Thanks for all the info guys and i'll definately be wrenching on those nuts to try and tighten it up!!

I looked at the Burandt bag and though it was a bit big and sloppy so I went with the under seat bag and to make up the extra space required, I added my old IQ seat bag to the back and turned it around so it fit tight to the tail light. I unstitched the 2 velcro straps and re-sewed them to hold my shovel handle. The handle is about flush with the tunnel sides.

I carry a lot of survival gear, so it works for me, but for most people this bag will be too big, it looks more like a suit case. :face-icon-small-blu

I did a long trail ride yesterday and it didn't move at all.

Polaris says a max of 15lbs on the tunnel, yet they make an enourmous bag that people can cram with 30lbs of stuff, a real disconnect between product design and know limitations.

I didn't like how secure mine felt with the quick release tabs. So I bolted it on more permanently. So I KNOW it ain't leaving

Me too. If I need to remove it I'll use tools. I want it to stay attached and definitely like the waterproof bag.
