I picked up a set of fox floats from a new m8. They are the same lenght as nytro stock shocks according to Fox. The problem is the mounting bushings are not the same. Has anyone done this? Is there an bushing kit I need? Can you simply enlarge the Yamaha mounts and use a bigger bolt? If you have done this please pass along the best way. Thank You, Chad

i have a set on mine from a m8. I used the stock plastic bushings in the shocks and then machined aluminum collars on a metal lathe to fit the nytro. I dont know of anyone who sells those collars except possibly the collars used on a nytro that came with floats??? If you have access to a lathe its easy, just get all your measurements correct

Shocks

You used the bushings in the Fox shocks then machined a colar that fit in the fox shox bushing and drilled for the stock Yamaha bolt?

2 piece collars for each end of the shock with flanges built in to attain the proper width. the inside of the collars is drilled for the metric bolt size. The plastic bushings are the ones that came in the M8 shocks.
