Inside the Crater at Mt.Baker last May!

Highline Copters must have airlifted you up there, certainly you didn't climb there with a 600, oh wait
it was May, spring snow.
That was my second ascent to the top on the 600.The first was to the right of the crater !
Cool video, I bet that climber who was standing there was thinking why did I just hike 10 hrs. to get here. I used to go up there all the time until , my buddy jumped on his sled and rode off in front of me leaving a huge hole that was a opening to a big crevice just waiting for us to fall through, after that I just figured there was better snow down lower, but Im always tempted to rip up there.
wow ive been up there 4 times and never seen it like that its always blowing 80 plus if I seen it like that there would have been tracks in the crater nice video I suppose I will have my day still amazed wow
The climber you see with the yellow pack is actually a para-sail.They both had their sleds there and brought ski's also. They hiked to the very top of Baker and skied back down to where you see the sleds. The parasailer then set up his para-sail and went sailing arond Baker for about 45 minutes.
