Input on porting Power Claw

Anyone have any suggestions for porting the Power Claw? I'm looking for a recommended pattern and what to look out for. No...I don't want to discuss why I shouldn't port it. I'll be working it over the next couple weeks before the heavy riding starts and need some guidance. Thanks.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I haven't spun my track by hand in a long time. I can tell you on my RX-1M track porting made a huge difference in ease of rolling but, I had a lot more holes in the track.

This Powerclaw porting is an initial test. If the track doesn't stretch too much or show premature signs of wear, I may add a few more well placed holes. Time will tell.

I can tell you that I think track porting can free up horsepower. On my RX-1 I gained 200 RPM of shift speed just by porting the track. So, I was able to add more weight to my primary to harness this free horsepower.

I ported mine with the BDX porting tool. Two 1.25" hole down the middle. Just make sure the they don't run over the rear wheels if you can help it. And yes it does free up the track, but more importantly it doen't get packed with snow! The powerclaw is a lighter track than the Camo Extreme so it may stretch a little more. My .02
