I know just get an aem. for some reason my guage just reads 8. . doesnt warm up cant get it to change at all and it doesnt register when hooked to the computer. Just wondering if anyone else has had this and if this means its completely toast? thanks julio

Ya pritty sure its junk. Call innovate at 949-502-8400. But they will want you to send it in and they will test it for sure tho.
Could be the sending unit as well. Not sure what brand mine is but mine was stuck on 14 then I changed my O2 sensor and it was fixed.

The other day I thought I had ruined mine and I went to the Innovate web site and followed their directions to the T.
It was a pretty big process. If I remember right it went something like this:
1. Take the sensor out - really needs to happen out side where the air is clean.
2. Turn it on for 2 minutes (in my case the sled has to be running)
3. While it is still running and after two miinutes hold the button down until CAL comes up on the screen.
4. Continue to run another 30-45 seconds
5. Turn it off and wait at least 10 seconds, I waited about 20
6. Turn it back on and do nothing for 30 seconds
7. Push the button three times quickly or until RES comes up on the screen
8. Keep it running another 30-45 seconds, the numbers 20. something will flash but even if it flashes the same number every time keep it running and flashing for at least 30 seconds.
9. Turn it off
10 Screw it back into the exhaust make sure at least 10-30 seconds go by
11. Start it back up and do not touch anything
12. Let it idle for at least 45-60 seconds
13. At 60 seconds if the numbers have not started reading right and it still says "H74" or H and a number blip the throttle.
14. Your readings should pop up at that time correctly calculated.
It worked for me and I hope it will work for you.

i tried running it an hitting the reset. no luck, this is the first time it done this most of the time it changes calibration(on its own). It doesnt show error codes just the number 8. doesnt go threw the warm up doesnt change if you disconnect the sensor. Worst is the computer doesnt pick up that its there when pluged in. will call innovate today, I am wishing I would have put an af guage on my wish list for santa. julio

yep boondocker. i would just run it but changed the compresion and am now planing to run more boost. so I really think I should have the guage working. julio
I've never had mine stick on one reading before, but the list of errors on my Innovate was enough for me to chuck the thing. Installing an AEM tonight. It seems like every single person I've talked to has had an Innovate and 86'd it for an AEM. Didn't really want to drop the ching on a new gauge, but with turning my boost up to 20+ this year and adding methanol injection, I figured a WORKING A/F gauge would be a pretty good idea.
we should have put together a group buy, I ordered one today. This was a first for me as well, kinda why I gave up on it.
