I have got probably about 8 inches in the last two days at my house. i would guess inman probably got near a foot. I was up there last weekend and the common places around the groomer were tracked up real good, but there is some places to go with no tracks. The recent snow we have gotten has been very heavy so the avy conditions aren't to good either. Im hoping to be up there too.

I didn't make it up inman but i did go up to pebble and there was 2 feet of fresh up in the trees. I drove up to the parking area around 4 and there was a ton of people, i think there was 6 trailers down on the road because the parking lot was full. So the main areas are probably way tracked up but you could probably find some pow in the trees. And for avys- it was 40 degrees today in inkom so the top layer is still way heavier than the base. Good luck tomarow.

That (I heard) was from someone pulling an enclosed up there with baldy tires and bad driving skills. Pulling into the lot slid down and trailer broke through the edge and got stuck in the creek. Bunch of trucks stuck behind them probably just parked on the road. We got there at 11:30 and got a front row spot in the lot. Plenty of space left, people prob just got antsy to ride so didn't wait for the trailer to get pulled out.

It was pretty good. most places up high had about 12" of fresh with a decent base. We stayed off the big stuff but saw plenty of people cliimbing the bigger bowls. We did see 2 different slides while we were riding up by S. Putnam tho. Mostly wind blown layers breaking off from the cornices, but I can bet there are big slabs just waiting to go. There is a super crusty layer from that crap warm weather early in January that has me super nervous about our area. A lot of area got tracked up, BUT there was still a lot of untouched stuff to make a full days ride out of. Trail didn't suck that bad either. Compared to most anywhere else the 3 miles from the trailhead isn't that bad for the amount of off-trail riding that awaits up high. Be SMART up there, still watch out for rocks, and pray for snow.

Went up today and made it back toward God Mountain for the first time. That area has the potential to be some dangerous country I must say. Snow was pretty good and stable for the most part. Was having a great time until I lost compression on my mag cylinder. :frusty: So much for sweet talking my baby on valentines day...

Went up inman to putnam again today. The snow was still good and we didnt see too many people over towards the res. The groomer out of inman sucked way bad today. heres a couple pics

Nice pics BR. Was up there with a buddy saturday also. We got down by the creek on the backside of Gods and pounded that hill like crazy. Only place we could find anywhere that we were actually getting stuck while climbing. Most of the snow has settled now and you can climb about anything you want. We did some tests on the north slopes we were on and found a layer that was letting loose about 12" from the surface. Definitely worth keeping an eye out. Inman doesn't 'typically slide' like most places, but it's just a matter of time before a big one lets loose up there. Good ridin, good weather, should be able to enjoy it til the end of March I hope. Maybe it will snow one last time this year to keep that road rideable...... later
