Inline trailer questions.

I am looking to buy an inline trailer. I have never used an inline before so I'm not quite sure what length I should get. I would like to be able to load 3 mountain sleds (163's and possibly 174's in the future.) I'm thinking a 20 foot with a 4-6 ft V would work nicely buy I'm not sure. I have a half ton pickup so I want to keep it as short as possible and still be able to load 3 sleds.

I am also wondering about what brand of trailer. I have already pretty much ruled out stealth, lightning, and mti as I don't think their build quality is the best. I am familiar with aluma and I'm leaning this direction. I am also considering atc and neo but I have no experience with these brands.

So I have 2 questions. How long do I need to get three mountain sleds in a 7ft wide trailer without loading one backwards? Does anyone have experience with atc or neo trailers that could offer any opinions?

I have a 4 place 24' plus a 5' V Aluma trailer. The in lines do pull very nice and you can see very well behind you.
It appears bugglin_bull has answered your questions.

a buddy of mine has a 28' and can 4 155's in and it is tight. 3 might be okay in the 20', but not sure on how many 174's

I have a 28' car hauler that we put 6 sleds in. we have 3 163's in the group and the rest are 151, 156, 154 and they barely fit. Now with the talk of 174's I will need to get a longer trailer.

I own a 20ft box 5ft V 7 wide inline enclosed. We haul 4 153-155 sleds its a tight fit but works good. All my storage is either up high an oil rack, tool box, and cabinet so the sleds can fit underneath. We stick our gear bags on the running boards of the sleds to keep them dry and there isn't really any floor space left for bags. I would think hauling 3 longer sleds wouldn't be an issue in the same size trailer.

I have the 18' + 5' V that I posted the picture of and can fit three 163 ' s in it all daylong. Haven't had any 174's yet but given I have plenty of room I don't think it would be a problem. I pull this trailer with an ecoboost and you can't even tell that it is there.

Thanks for the responses. Anyone have any experience (good or bad) with atc or neo trailers?

No experience with those brands, but I have a 7x 29 stealth aluminum I got new this spring. Trailer pulls excellent and I am very satisfied with the quality overall. The interior cabinet is kind of cheap, but that is my only complaint. I priced out a similarly equipped aluma before I bought this one and it was close to $5000 more. If your just looking for a basic trailer to haul sleds I wouldn't rule out a stealth.

I have a 30 foot box, five foot V, seven foot wide Rance Renegade inline and can get six mountain sleds in easily but I drive one in and back one along side it. Todays sleds all have reverse and backing them is not a problem. Duffel bags all stay up on the running boards and stay dry. In my eight and one half foot wide trailer (same length) all duffel bags would end up on the floor and would be wet and often times frozen down.

The inline is easy to see around, is lighter, and tows much easier at higher speeds and in heavy winds. I needed sway bars on my eight and one half foot wide trailer and do not use them ever on my seven foot wide. If not towing with a turbo diesel you will really appreciate an inline.
