Dr David Ruoff did a heck of a good job on my rotator cuff surgery. He is in Renton. Don't know if he does wrists though.

Good luck!

I am still hoping that I will be able to ride by the end of January. Had the surgery the third week of July.

The best orthopedic surgeon I ever knew worked at the Virginia Mason Sports Medicine Clinic in Seattle.
I'll be dammed if I can remember his name but he was a very honest, capable surgeon.
He was one ot the surgeons for the old Sounders and Seahawks for some time with autographed photos all over his office and waiting area, thanking him for the great care he took in getting them back in the game.
He fixed my wife's ACL and Miniscus but suggested I NOT get surgery when I blew out my knee when I tried to sled down a sheer rock face a few years back. He told me it would be stronger in the long run if I let it heal on it's own and he was right.
A person of lesser character would have just done the surgery and got a paycheck.
He also fixed Jeff's (summit800) daughter's (sledchic) knee after another surgeon hacked the job so bad that she could barely walk for about a month.

Call the Sports clinic's in the area for some references or ideas on who to see.
I'm sure you know by now that you should not have waited so long.
You may have done some serious damage and now there's a good possibility that you have a lot of calcium build up in the area that makes things even worse
here's a good place to start...

Vymeister??? The guy from Europe! This guy hacked on my dad 13 times. 13 surgeries in 4 years. Had pins come out through his cast two times. Chopped out bone from both hips. 3 steel rods fusing the wrist solid. Original injury was a sprain closing a tailgate.

I'm glad for you that you've had good luck with him. I couldn't endorse him!!

Sorry to hyjack, does anyone know of a good knee DR.???? Put a cottor pin in mine and ruptored the patella tendon. Ruined my sled season last year and still frigged up

Orthopedic surgeons............

I have had very good luck with the Seattle Orthopedic Fracture clinic. I have had Dr. Peterson sr. fix my leg. Broken tib/fib and compartment syn. Dr. Newton III, did both of my wrists for carpal tunnel. Dr Falicov fixed my fathers back, with huge success. Overall, I feel a good team of doctors with a very good rep. Good luck!

I am no Orthopod, but I have put several of their kids through college. ;)

Dr. Steve Radcliffe with Prolance surgeons in Bellevue 425-455-3600 has taken very good care of my whole family. He's one of the docs that other docs go to..... Steve specializes on Knee and hip stuff, but has taken care of all my other joints too. He has a collegue, Dr. Tom Chi, very cool dude as well, Chi specializes in wrist and ankle stuff. They are good friends, and often work together.

I also had good luck with a ortho a virginia mason. I tore up my rotator cuff during football and at the time I was out of state, the doc there wanted to cut on me the very next day. He told me all this s!@t that was wrong with my shoulder.

I came home and got a second opinion and he thought rehab was the best option, he gave me many examples of athletes with the same problem only the had a much worse case and how rehab fixed them right up. I didn't have surgrey and it healed up just fine all on its own.
