My issue, sled runs great but when its loaded and on full throttle it cuts out really bad after like 5-6 seconds and then it'll come back on...i thought i had video of the stutter but i checked and dont anymore. I am at a loss to what it could be at this point....injectors, EBC, any help please throw it out there...

Has your injectors ever been replaced, by you, or was warranty work ever done that they could have been replace by your dealer before?

I'd also check the fuel pressure and change the filter, kill the sled as soon as it starts cutting out and check the plugs to see if one is really lean or wet.

When I had a broken wire going to an injector my problem was loading up in the mid range but ran great wfo.

I've had two come into the shop this year that all we can figure is that it was bad gas and plugged the injector just long enough to burn it down.

If you are running a Dobeck controller, we have seen them reset from a voltage spike or bad ground. Look at the controller and see how long it takes to go through its starting sequence when the sled starts, it just might be the same amount of time your injectors won't fire?

Neil, I am running the BD box...but two weeks ago did have the diagnostic plug in the wiring harness down by the hood hinge rub the exhaust shield through the plastic and exposed the ground....long wnough exposure to turn the sled off, probably happened ten times before i figured it out. You think its possible i screwed my electrical??

low fuel pressure due to plugged fuel filter is very common-check your 02's and fuel pressure wfo-CFI engines usually stutter or oscillate when they go lean.

Curt, ill give that a shot, have to hook up a fuel pressure gauge and i dont run a wideband but ill def check that out...

Thanks

If it normally runs good, but just shuts off for a few moments, it would indicate an electrical issue.
