Injector wires crossed. now wont idle

Fixing a water leak i accidently pluged in the pto upper to the pto lower injector lead and visa versa. The mag side was correct. the motor idled perfect in the shop and always has before. i went to ride it and it boged on the top end and i knew something was wrong. then it would not idle any more unless i held the throtle open a little. got it back to the shop and noticed the wires on the pto side injectors were crossed. Fixed the wires and the top end rpm is fine but still wont idle.
Any ideas what to check?
I changed the spark plugs. that did not help
