injection oil

Just getting back into the 2stroke game. I got a 2010 HCR. I was wondering if you guys could tell me how many tanks of gas will the injection oil reservoir last. Thanks.

It will last 2 full tanks.

It "should" last 2 tanks. Check your oil consumption after a couple hundred miles breakin. Not sure if Cat has fixed it, but both my '05 and '08 were really rich on oil, around 25:1. Measure ounces of oil vs oz gas (128oz/gal). I had to turn down the oil pump on both sleds. 3 turns on the M7 and 2 turns on the M1ooo to get the ratio to around 40:1.

You should make 2 tanks but just keep an eye on it and like they said you may have to tweek it a little to get your desired ratio.
