Injection oil leak in belly pan ????

As title says I have 2 2009 M1000`s that are slowly dripping injection oil on my shop floor. Sleds are new hold overs bought and ridden this winter 2009/2010 !
Noticed the oil on my trailer floor after about 500 miles. Sleds were rolled over a couple of times to get unstuck . Never see any oil under the hood on any parts so thinking I might have bad injection line some were under the hood.
But on both sleds !!!! Makes me think this is not an isolated condition .
Have not over filled or spilled any oil so I am wondering if any other owners or mechanics have ran across this condition before.

Jigger.

There is no way you have a hose leaking on two sleds. Double check the oil bottle cap. The neck/threads like to melt and worp making it hard to get a good seal with the cap. When rolling them over it will leak pretty bad from the cap.

If that was not the sourse of the oil then I'd pull the belly pan off and have a look into the bottm of the oil bottle and the oil lines goin to the carb boots.

If its leakin from a hose, You may be just a mile from a burn down if your not getting oil to both sides!:face-icon-small-con

I'm going to bet its melted threads.:face-icon-small-win

There was a service bulitin on the 09's for loose oil lines at the pump banjo fittings. Take your belly pan off and check them. Torque is 8 in/lbs.

Check air intake.

Remove the air box and look into the intake if oil is "puddling" in the intake boot I would guess the oil pump is sticking I had this problem on an 09 M8?

Hope this helps. Mine was leaking from the same place.

Thanks to all for the info.

The oil tank , cap and threads are OK , lots of heat tape and not leaking from there.
Will pull the air box and belly pan to diagnose the source of the oil.
I have checked the oil pump lever and it seems to have uninterrupted travel. Will check all the banjo bolts and hose clamps .
Did not know about any service bulletin for this possible condition but will fix it myself.

Thank again for the info : Jigger.
