I set my injectors out to be tested and the pto full load is weak compared to the other three by as much as 3 cc. Does anyone know any specs on these injectors there are yellow. Is there a crank seal between cylinders on the 700 or has anyone ever had one go on a cfi just a ? that was but forth to me. There are going to clean them and check them again. That is the cylinder that keeps going down.

ALL injectors can and will fail weather its dirt or a bad solinoid 3cc only sounds dirty ther is a inlet filter on all injectors that can be replaced, although not easy NAPA has the replacements in there fuel systems book..

ALL injectors can and will fail weather its dirt or the solinoid ,3cc sounds like dirt to me, the filter in the inlet side can be changed NAPA caries these in there fuel systems book, but you will probably have to order them , and match them up there are several different stiles NAPAMATT can probably set you up with the right ones..

Well I got them back tonight not good news. They all have different readings and they got worse after cleaning. The two full load ones in the bottem are the worse. There is no screens in the inlet side. It would really help if someone knew the specs on these injectors. I called two dealerships to find out ,guess what you can not talk to a mechanic but you can bring them in.Then the one dealer calls me up and tries to sell me another sled.Maybe I should call Mexico someone their might know something?????

Someone out there has to know what the specs are supposed to be on the injectors. Perhaps we can find a cross reference to a generic parts source.

Anyone had any results with using a fuel additive for periodic cleaning, such as Techron from Chevron? Is that stuff ok to use in a 2-smoke?

This doesn't surprise me. I figured we would start seeing injector issues sooner or later. The Doo SDI's (carbon copy to the CFI's) also have these issues. The 2 strokes seem to leave carbon deposits at the inlet of the injector.

Not to mention they fire twice as often as a 4 stroke injector.

On the Sea-Doo jet skis, they refer to them in pounds of fuel per hour.

STOCK 38lbs.

Slight boost 42 lbs.

Aftermarket 60+ lbs available

Agreed on being close to even.

Makes you want to grab a set of (4) BRAND NEW INJECTORS, and test them PRIOR to installing them.

They were tested and cleaned at a vocational school at a collage in Lewiston ID. My friend is the instructor there. They do automotive ones all the time.Maybe polaris does not know what there injector put out thats why they do not call back?

What I'm still baffled at is why POLARIS used 3 different flow rate injectors labeled by different colors each requiring a different fuel curve and color coded matched E/C/U/

One would think that if an injector did not flow within specs, it would be discarded, or returned to the vendor, and then of course only 1 E.C.U. flash would be necessary.

Quality control at it's finest

On the Sea-Doo's, one injector, one flash.

I think they are seconds they got a deal on them with there pistons A, AB BA .I can not believe not one polaris tech ,dealer or trained mechanic has not responded I guess they just replace them like a pistons if it is close it is good enough. I am looking into buying a nytro I think it is time to change I have looked at the 4 stroke thread no one on there is asking if they should be scared to buy a polaris.
