information needed on 12 SB Assault shocks

my buddy took off the clutch side of his '12 with a rock, needless to say all that is left to fix now is the shock, which the dealer says is different than the '11 SB Assault that he has in stock.

The thing is the identical shock for the '12 is not available to him until Jan 21st

Does anyone know what the difference is, and if another Polaris model has a compatible Walker that will work until the right part comes in

The 2012 WE clicker for the SBA is:
Extended length:17.7
Collapes Length:11.63
Stroke:6.07
Shock Rod Diameter:.625

There is nothing for 2011 that matches up to those specs. Maybe call Carls and see if there is a Fox equivalant.
