snow is heavy

the snow is very heavy right now as the freezing level is way up, BUT, it is scheduled to drop to the valley floor level tomorrow and then more snow this weekend. Could get a foot tomorrow on the upper slopes and about the same next weekend just before the Holidays. Will see?

To rent a sled, go to http://www.cheapthrillsrentals.com/

Good luck, Spud

thanks man.

on scene snow report!

by the way, my old man found a place in poky that would rent him a sled for $90 a day so i think he will go with that (not needing a mountain sled cause he is a new rider). so i think we are covered on that end but please keep the update going on the snow for everyone. :face-icon-small-hap

thanks guys/sledbetties

If I was going to take a new rider out in the McCall area that can get 1-3feet of snow in a night I wouldn't want them on a trail sled! That could be the longest day of your life. Nothing worse than having a little short track and a new rider that continues to auger it in and struggle to find a place to park facing down hill all day.

I would think strongly about a long track just to ensure it is a pleasurable experience. IMO
