Info on buying an '02 summit 600?

Wondering if there is anything I need to know before buying this sled. Only 1200 miles, bone stock, mint condition. How much would it cost for maybe a pipe(s) and a new head? Any help would really be appreciated.

Ther good sleds Dont waste your money for a pipe just get a can Mbrp makes a good one. Also If you want a head for this motor contact RK tek.

blue book is $2700 So some where close. You really dont need the head unless you run over 6,000 ft.

My house alone is 6250 We usually ride between 10000 and 11500. How many more horse would the head provide?

I dont think you would gain alot but it will give you alot of your power back that you lost from altitude.

Get a rev 800 ho. light years better IMO

A buddy I ride w/ still has a 02 600 summit that he bought brand new. I will ask him tomorrow about any problems but I can't remember ever seeing him have to wrench on it.. Seemed like a nice mid size sled.

I still have one I bought new that my wife and kids ride. It has been an excellent little sled. The only two things I ever remember doing to it were new handwarmers and a new recoil. Im thinking it has around 3,000 miles on it now and probably needs new rings but i havent got around to it.
