Hay guys i need some info on ANT-RACHET DRIVERS for a 2002 POLARIS RMK
151 . what do you have to do to do this. and how do you tell what pitch you have for a track. THANKS Mike
Use Wahl brothers drivers that are avalible from any WPS dealer. Your stock track pitch is 2.52, which is the distance between the bands on the track. You can change to a 3.0 pitch track or a 2.82 pitch by changing your drivers. Depending on the sled you might have to trim the front of your rails or move the skid back so the extro's don't hit the front of the rails.
I used a set of bombardier drivers on my 03 rmk mod. worked very well and much cheaper right from bombardier than a sled shop. I put a 159 on @ the same time and moved my skid back 3.5 inches, no cutting of rails, etc. Gave lots of room from the front of the rails to the drivers.
On a '02 RMK with 9T antiratchets you will need to move the rail tips back a minimum of 2.5" to not have interference with the drivers. When I did mine I moved the susp back 1" (holes are already there, just need to be drilled all the way through), trimmed 1" from the rails and another 1/2" from the plastic tips.
