Hey folks, here's another bogging POO question.
1995 Indy Lite, 340 twin. 3200miles
Sled starts fine. BUT....
1. As soon as you touch the throttle - it bogs, before clutch engagement, if you feather the throttle or hold it in a position you can get the RPM's up, the clutch will engage but you then have to feather the throttle again in order to get the sled moving...past about 5-10mph and 3000RPM? she goes like crazy.
2. The idle seems to climb up on her too, if you touch the throttle the RPM's go up and won,t come down unless I choke it quickly, RPM's drop and sometimes slowly climb back up without touching the throttle.
I have played with the air screw (box side) to get the idle under control but the bog still remains.
Carbs were cleaned. Plug color is good dark tannish and dry.
There is no popping or backfiring...does this sound like a lean or rich condition?
