Independence Pass May slide pics

They seem to have the pass open every year for Independence weekend.What are the chances this season,got any inside info?
There's some good car skiing up there and probably this season some late season sled riding.

I don't know anything. I was up at Cottonwood Pass on Saturday, they are running up against the same sort of conditions, but there is a huge cornice hanging over the road, wish I could watch them detonate some charges in that. Gonna be tons of shuttle skiing this year near the passes

You can kinda see the cornice in this shot, already some nearly car-sized chunks have dropped off. The road follows the bottom of the hill right under there.
