Inconsistent RPM's?

Very happy with the Pro but seem to have a rather large variable in the RPM's. I ride with another Pro and it seems to consistently run about 200 RPM's more than mine. Both are set-up the same with exception of mine, which I have the Black Purple and a delrin washer and Polaris 10-60's, My buddies is all stock except for the 10-60's in his.
I was thinking maybe dirty valves, fuel filter just not sure. His has always run more R's than mine since they were new. I know on my Dragon the new fuel filter made quite a difference. Also wondering if anyone is trying new springs in the valves. Just know there is more underneath that hood. When she runs around the 8000 R mark she rips but sure can tell when she drops off to 75ish. There also seems to be a large variable in the R's when riding at the same elevation and about the same temperature. Just don't understand it.

rpm problem

my pro had the same issues i tried clutching and cleaning valves and all that stuff and come to find out it was my belt i had a thousand miles on it and it looked good but i put on a new one and it went right back to normal it was running great may not be your problem but it worked for me
