Incentives / Rebates on 2014. - up or down for March?

I almost bought a 2014 the last day of Febuary but decided to take a chance and see if the incentives for March are better. The had a 3 year warranty with a $417 rebate or the standard 1 year warranty with a $800 rebate. There was also a $400 sales blitz on either choice that was added to the rebate.

I'm hoping a slow sales year in the mountain segment will produce a better rebate coming up. I just checked the Polaris web site and the Febuary incentives have been removed but nothing new has been posted yet!:face-icon-small-sho

I was at my dealer yesterday for oil. He only had two sleds on the floor so I asked him if they had sold them all? He told me he had 9-10 '14s left but they would most likely sit until fall and be sold as holdovers. The incentives will be MUCH better next fall just like they were early this season.

Just as an example, in Dec. I could have bought a '14 with 2 years warranty or a '13 with three years. It was a better deal to get a holdover and, yes, they want you to pony up for a '15.

Whatever they do I really hope the keep the 3 year warranty in the mix. Without that I think I'll just keep what I have for another season.

Feb has had the best deals the last few years. I almost bought a 14 last week for 9600 OTD (no sales tax) with the 3 year extended service contract but the timing just wasn't right. In the market to buy a house and just didn't want to make the purchase right now.
Don't think I will find that kind of deals on a new sled until next feb. Oh well, my 12 only has 700 miles on it. Eric

I wish I could have found that deal. My dealer was $1,000 more than that!
