I'm experiencing some loss of fuel at WOT after a length of pull, either down a long road or on a steep hill. I put the gauge on the schrader valve and show 53#. Specs are 58-60# I believe. I have pulled the pump/pickup and checked that everything looked visually fine.
Any reason to drop over $500 for the Polaris unit with the intake or would a pump only replacement work fine?
I am finding two options:
Genuine Walbro pump - https://www.highflowfuel.com/i-2389...-dragon-es-2008-2010.html?ref=category:335702
Quantum pump - https://www.highflowfuel.com/i-2389...laris-600-700-800-iq-dragon-es-2008-2010.html
Obviously some price difference, but a heck of a lot cheaper than OEM with all the giblets.
Thoughts?
