T/S listed the same kit for 300 xc-w and 300xc even though the xc has linkage and the xc-w has PDS. They list kit SB-567 which works fine on the xc-w but does not work on the XC. They recently have made a change and now list SB-572 for 300XC. IT contains all the same pieces as the 567 except the strut rod and strut rod reducers(upper and lower) are different. They are the same as the 4T linkage bikes. The strut rod is shorter than the PDS xc-w.
