The Big chute is in my hands finally and I can't wipe the grin off my face. I am sure I will need some big napkins to wipe the smile off my face once I actully ride it!!!!!

Last friday night got about 1 1/2 sleep was so excited to ride mine. Will probably be that way this friday and they rip!!!

I've had mine together and I'm itching to ride it. I'm going to head out west to the snowies next Friday through Monday. So turbo if you want to go load yours up drive to Omaha and tag along!

turbo is back in. . . double and triple checking stuff. This is not a job to do in a hurry. It is not complicated, But it needs to be done right.

Still smiling. . .

Well. . . Turbo is in. First startup is done. . . Warmed up to the point the coolers got hot and burped her. Hopefully got that done well enough. I may likely do it again tomorrow for good measure. Though it seemed like it went well.

As for the install of the turbo it went off without a hitch. The head stud install was straight forward as well.

My favorite part of the Big chute. It looks stock. It doesn't sound any different than before with this exhaust.

I am very excited to ride this sled!

I thought you promissed your wife to leave it stock :face-icon-small-win I am really looking forward to your feedback with your history owning boosted Yamaha!

It looks stock????? LOL. Great to hear from you TT! I still lurk once in a while over on TY4 to make sure I am not missing anything. . .

Looking good, what kind of bolts did you switch to instead of studs? I'v been wanting to switch mine.

1100t: You did a nice job on the install and the pipe wrap looks awesome.

100003514 We are using grade 10.9 bolts that work really good and are far stronger than stock. Fastenal is a good source.

Thanks, whats the thread and sizing on those? Happen to have a fastenal 20min from my house.
x2 on the header wrap job, did mine was little tricky.

Well I rode it. . . . If you live in MN and realize the type of snow we have right now you know my sled is now a dirty pig. I think the header wrap finally quit stinking though. The power seems great. . . . But then again I have not ridden a sled since last winter. And I really do not have a spot to really get into it. I mostly just rode it back in forth in a small area to get check the coolant out and stuff.

Exhaust wrapping is a lost art. Yours looks great.

Please tell me you are doing justice to that new turbo by giving it some cold air!:face-icon-small-hap
