I'm starting this thread in memoriam of our forum friends who've passed on.

If you know of a forum member who has passed on please share it here.


Please post their username in bold.
Post their date of passing if you can.

David Shepard (RMSHA hillclimb champion) died in an avalanche near his home in Jackson, MT about 2001.

BillyGoat, and his wife died in a private airplane crash in about summer of 2002.

Gravity Meltdown, Marc Fry, owner of Extreme Team films, died in a swollen creek crossing in June of 2002.

Animal, Dave Johnson, died in an avalanche January 8, 2005.

Don "Stu" Stumiller of Spokane (Gravity Meltdown videos) (can't remember his username) died in a motorcycle crash in September 2003 or 04.

Wildcard, Brian Howard, was shot by his girlfriend in September of 2008.

Chazmanian, Chuck, passed away of a heart attack (while riding?) in January 2010.

RevX22, Chad. (??)

ttm1000, Donnie McKay, died in an avalanche in Cooke City, 11-26-14.



RIP. You have not been forgotten.

Rick Ward long time Polaris factory rider died in a motorcycle accident in 2009. Certainly one of the best hill climbers of his generation. I did not know him but I got to see him race a few times. RIP

Scott once you get all these posts will SW continue with adding them to a area that will not just be a thread...ie. a Memorial category or something that people can go to and not need to search for this thread.

I think a memorial section is a great idea. Maybe each one could have a thread or section with pics, stories ect....

Good thread, kinda sad around the holidays. Thinking of all the people missing family members, dads ect.
