impulse, synergy, apline, pl on apex

I know there are a bunch of threads on the turbos but cant find much on the impulse or synergy midmount on the apex. what are your thoughts on these four kits only? any info including who has the best prices would be greatly appreciated.

Cost shouldn't be your main motivation for selecting a kit.

By best price I mean where can I get the best deal on any given kit not which one is the least expensive. But I agree that you will get what you pay for.

I know you said these four only BUT..... Don't rule out the MCX kit. It is by far the most reliable kit out there. Unless you are looking for the absolute power the MCX will give you up to 310HP without the issue of the other brands. Front mounts have the heat issues ! Just take a look around. I'm not sure what your after but total reliability was the name of the game for me and i put close to 3000km on my MCX Apex this season and i did not have one single hicup. Darko was right when he recommended the MCX and it was perfect.

I,m running the Alpine gt 28 on my RX-1 so far 2 seasons and not problem.I,ve had it up to 14 psi and it is a hand full.If I had to do it again it will be a Alpine Nytro.Just having a hard time convincing the wife I need to spend another 30 grand on a sled.

From the list above you want throttle response. how much hp? you want a mountain setup, or short (153) setup?

I love my alpine/powderlites apex, now it has the new alpine header on it and it works even better. Alpine builds some wicked stuff, great customer service, and they ride mountain sleds so they have the setup dialed.

I did a little riding with the boys from impulse and there stuff that I rode was working good also. Their sleds ran clean and made real good power.

I am wanting the capability to get over 300hp and is for a mountain setup. Ride mainly 7000 feet and over. Talked to dave at pl today and liked what he had to say. will make some more calls tomorrow. Thanks

Buy one of my apex's, they are for sale make good power and are setup for climbing. Got nos, meth, large intercooler, new stlye header, and pretty much everything you could do to it.......... its already done. haha

Mike congrats on the awesome pull! wish I could have seen it but quess I will wait until I can see some vid of it. Dont think I have the extra cash to pick up one of your sleds, will be doing good just to pay for the turbo kit for the one I have right now!
