Impulse Stand Alone Fuel Managment "upgrade"

I have one of the original '08 model kits and wondering if anyones done the 'upgrade' to the stand alone setup.

I emailed Paul asking the same a few mins ago, but just curious about end user reports.

What did the install entail from previous kits?
The kit was installed on the sled when I bought the sled (from Paul), so I don't have the experiance/know how of current wiring and assembly and such. But I'm sure I'd have no prob following instructions and doing the work needed. Just wondering how in depth it gets?
I have the 450cc injectors, does the new setup require 750cc injectors to fuel properly at 17#s (on pump gas)?

I know, I can and will get most this answered by Paul, but in the time being looking for end user info on the actual upgrade.

I have the new upgrade fuel system. It has a few new sensors, fuel pump, ecu and heashim. The upgrade kit comes with baro sensor, boost pressure sensor, intercooler temp sensor, water temp sensor, new fuel pump like mentioned with bracket, 750cc injectors, ecu with mounting bracket, and wiring harness to make it all work. Its a fairly simple install and clean too. Dont have any pics but i will get some soon.

You ditch the old fuel regulator, weld in a new bung for the intake temp sensor or send it in for paul to weld up, also you tie into the fuel pump with the new wiring harness, tap into the tps with the new harness and i think thats about it. Like i said, its fairly simple and doesnt take long(other than the headshim) to make the switch. Worth the money if you ask me.

ahhh a different head shim and welding in another bung makes it pretty involved..for me.
thanks for the info! pics would be cool just to get an idea what changes are made.

recieved an email from Paul today.

the HS isn't absolutely required, it will just limit max boost...which for me is fine.

may end up being a good upgrade for next season.

Thanks again to Paul's great response time and thorough info!
its nice having someone actually explain things.

I've talked to Paul a couple times in the last month and have an order in for one that's almost ready. I sent my intercooler in and he's welding in the new sensor bung. With my '08 kit headshim, I can run 15 lbs. and am assuming our riding areas the same.
