Impulse Nytro Driver issue ? or not ?

I have had about 6 rides on my Impulse Nytro, I noticed after riding yesterday that My left driver (when looking from the rear) is discolored. My guess is that its from the exhaust which dumps above it on the left.

I am wondering if this is normal, and in-fact from the exhaust. Or is there somthing else going on here. Anyone else find the same?

I have the same on my Impulse. Its the exhaust discoloring the left driver. The standalone is a little fat down low, new map coming soon for this. Also with closed loop lambda soon to come.

I have read a bit on the Closed loop lambda. This sounds awesome !

I know there is narrow band and wide band lambda, does anyone know which one will apply to the impulse standalone. the narrow band sounds like just a basic sensor system that samples exhaust and ambient air. where as the wide band looks to be a lot more complex with amplifiers and diffusion chambers yadda yadda etc....

the article I read used lots of big words and technical jargon, SO it must be good.:face-icon-small-ton

I think it uses a wideband, Paul asked me which lamda I used and I told him Aem Uego. Closed loop lambda is a feature that adjust fuel according to parameters, like boost, tps, rpms etc. Like upto 6000 rpms it can add or subtract 10% from the map. So then above 6000 rpms it will not adjust according to lambda it will then use the map.

It will help get fueling right when riding off boost or on low boost, and MPG will get better.

I have an ecu coming soon.

Can't wait for this ! It will be nice for the impulse nytro to lose some weight down low. I find towards the end of the day of riding the hesitation and gurgling is increased.
