Impulse customer service

Throughout most of the year I was having problems getting my nytro with the impulse standalone kit to run good off the bottom end.
After talking with Paul and checking a few things, he offered to pick the sled up and tune it in. He drove 5 hrs one way to get the sled. He tuned it in, then offered to go riding for two days to make sure I was happy with it. Not only did the sled rip with absolutely no stumbles, he did it free of charge.

I got to spend a great weekend with the impulse guys in Utah while Doc was filming for his next mountain mod mania film. What a great group of guys. I thought I was a decent rider before I rode with them.

I just wanted to say thanks to Paul and his crew. I don't think customer service can vet any better than that.

Souds like Paul takes good care of you guys! Im on the other side of the atlantic, but Paul always answers emails and is easy to reach on the phone.

Do you know what he did to the sled? Did he tune the map in the ecu or just fuel pressuere etc...??

Very nice to hear, Paul is always going out of his way to help out our customers. He does a lot of work to build a killer turbo system, most people have no idea!

Have heard lots of good things about impulse. Just wish they built a low boost kit. Not really into the big boost stuff. It is great to hear about people that really stand behind their stuff.

I am also interested????

He does stand behind his product He has been there for all my questions and has built a great reputation. Thanks Paul!

I had a few issues going on.
1)Vacuum lines on throttle bodies. I did not have everything correct on the vacuum lines. Was sending a dirty signal.
2)Fuel pressure. My gauge was 5 psi off. Im not at 43 psi.
3)5 amp injector fuse was loose.
4)I have a old 4 stroke solutions kill switch and jacobsen roll over valve. Switch was going bad and causing sled to die when it had bad contact.
5)Paul gave me the latest programming on ECU.

Sled absolutely rips. I can see how he found problem 1 and 2...but I would of never found 3-5. Hope this helps.

so did you get rid of the roll over valve i have one also not real impressed with the valve part. ya i think i have the same problem with the vac lines i should call and see if he can draw it out for me see how mine compare. i heard it makes a huge difference when they are right.

Yes my rollover valve and kill switch is bypassed now. All those guys run a very simple pingle tether. No rollover valve. They just pack extra oil and deal with the mess. Ya I think having vacuum lines correct is a must.

Paul has been super helpful in getting the most out of my pg nytro. The
closed loop system really helped out the bottom end bog for me. I would
recommend his systems to everyone. Sincerely Carl Reid (satisfied Customer)

Another vote for the vacuum diagram! Im set up for closed loop but it still seems laggy in the bottom end.
