My bud has a 2012 SB assault 5000miles. His sled sheared the crank right at the primary last week. End's up the guy that bought the sled opted out for second year warranty. He called the dealer and asked what to do and prices, they wanted to see the sled and sent pictures to polaris. They are giving him a new crank and clutch. He asked to rebuild the top end also and was told all in just over $700.
I also ride the same sled less miles. I shattered my primary clutch's steel core last winter. I had valid warranty. They gave me both clutch's new (secondary was dinged) and a new motor becasue they couldn't get part of the primary off the crank. I had also asked them to rebuild my shocks for this season and they gave me a new one on warranty because it was screwed. My a-arms paint was peeling a little and they replaced them too.
All this work was done with no questions or short cuts. my dealer is in Headingley MB, My buds is up in Beausejour MB. Very impressed with our dealers and polaris.
