Important parts / accessories to get for my first Timbersled

Hi,

I just ordered a Timbersled ARO 137po It will go on a KTM 500 EXC-F … My first snow bike so very excited to start this new adventure…

For that reason I would like to know what accessories are the most important to put on right away? I have skid plate on my bike…

Hand guards with side reinforcement?

Heated grips or not? I am used with mine and not sure about heated grips (they seems to be much bulkier than motocross) Maybe better hand warmers that go over the hand guards (like a sleeve). I have the same on my snowmobile and never get cold with these.

Better protection for radiator?

Any other accessories you consider important? Please mention the model as well.

I just need to get me started and them will add or adjust along the way.

Any advice on any other important points I appreciate.

Here is what I have learned/done so far.

I'm new here too and have been getting my bike all set up as well. Here is what I have learned from these guys. Most have been awesome.

Engine jacket to keep engine temp up or it will run too cold and overfuel the motor causing the fuel to get into the engine/x-fer case oil. I went with a PST engine jacket, totally worth the $215 shipped.

If you have been good with, and have/are using the hand gauntlets on the bars, get them and don't worry about grips or even heated bars. I got BikeMaster 12V grips and will use them with the flag style handguards that came with my bike just to keep the wind off. I don't use any kind of bar guard or wraparound on the dirt, I'm that good.

None of that for me, even in the dirt but, I have a magic carpet sled on the way that I'll cut out and slide pieces of in both the front and back of the radiator to keep the heat in and will adjust as necessary.

Unless you can put the plastic fork guards on after the front ski goes on, I got some full length Seal Savers to go over the fork sliders so they don't/won't get (as) damaged.
