So I read the thread about the Tunnel back ordered, the Aarms on backorder.....Had do pick a few other misc things up for my PRO....backordered till the 22nd. Then I just picked up a new RZRs and went to install a snowplow on it made by Polaris....guess what FRICKING BACKORDERED till February 2nd and maybe longer. I called 20+ dealerships for this plow and ended up having to drive 300 miles to a dealership that finally had one set in stock

Polaris keeps it inventory of service parts low so no dealers have parts. Only reason they are keeping service part inventory low is to keep there cost down. It always ends up screwing the customer....

ahhh...its ok Barry...

I drove my 2hr old RZR off a cliff and completely totaled it....need every part they make...........everything was on back-order....so now its just rusting in my back yard.

Heck, it was only $20k Canadian

My 800 dragon has been down for over a month now due to the cylinders being on backorder. First winter in 7 years where I have had time off to ride. Go figure.

Hour 2, Hour 3......and Hour 4..............

It's not a well known fact but the Canadian blue watermelon is the RZR's only natural enemy...:face-icon-small-hap

That "Blue Watermelon" was the bouy we used after the diver hooked the rope to it in its 40ft deep resting hole in the river....post cliff dive and 5 endo decent.......'twas AWESOME...I was in it for the whole ride, just got my belt off as it washed away

You were in it the whole time? OMG! Dude your lucky to be alive! What happened?

As a business owner myself, with the current economy, it only makes sense to keep a small inventory. I am dealing with the same issue at the electrical wholesale store. With the dairy business slow, they are not stocking hardly any stainless steel material. Like you it pisses me off, but I am not ordering any surplus when I order either. It seems that convenience has been over-ruled but economic sense. Hopefully Polaris is selling so much stuff they can't keep up. Hopefully when the economy picks up we will see more availability

I understand the local dealers not stocking a large supply of parts but the bigger problem is them not being able to call up Polaris and get something for these new Pro's...

longgold, I'm not trying to be rude but if you paid $20 grand for that RZR in the pics, you paid way, way too much (unless it's turboed and running trick aftermarket suspension).

mate...here in Canada...base price $14k, rims and rubber $1k, nerf bars, roof, spot lights, bumpers, winch, roof, windsheild, rearview mirror...bla, bla, bla, another $2500.......12.5% taxes....grand total $19,687....

You're telling ME I spent too much...****...no ****

My Assault cost me $3k more than you for the exact same sled...why???...because that's what Polaris decide to charge us here in Canada...and if you go buying it in the States to save yourself some money, no dealer up here will touch it...

write a letter to Polaris for me and point out the injustice of it all will ya?

a good dealership would have had all those parts except the tunnel in stock th entire season. and not waited until they went on back order and then a customer needed them. A-arms are a very common replacement part, i always have at least 2 sets in stock and have not had any trouble re-ordering yet this season, as far as the plow set up goes we have at least 6 different variations that fit a rzr in stock pretty much year round

Is Hinton, Alberta part of Canada? That is where High Velocity says he hails from.....

No, NONE of Alberta is part of Canada....they're their own rogue state...

At least they must be if they are getting to turbo and update their suspension and pay for their RZR and their other accessories AND pay Canadian taxes for under $20,000

Kinzer, I have a couple sets myself but the word I got when I called my dealer about alot of this stuff is that they didn't send them any early for the Pro and they are still on backorder? Nothing in particular but just a lot of the basics... You guys hearing something different?

Yes, its annoying and a pain in the arse for customers but Polaris is saving money that way and if thats how they keep their prices down then so be it I think. Look at the cost for a new polaris sled vs. any other and polaris is probably cheaper(I think).
