Im lucky to see 7500 rpm! I want to achieve more Help?

My 2010 RMK 800 155, feels like it has more power to offer. I ride at 9000 ft and up, and my sled just will not reach maximum rpm, which i believe should be around 8200? will changing the weights in the primary help me achieve this goal? or do i need to start somewhere else? its got 62 gram now, and i was thinking of going to 60's. also it has a 140/330 spring. the black one. Is there a spring weight combo that will get my rpm's where the need to be?

Rpm

Go to 60 weights and 140/340 spring. SLP blue/pink also stock helix. If you still have problems, have your TPS checked. Should run 8100.

Yep there is no way no how that a stock setup 2010 800 pulls 62 grams at your riding alt. 58 is more like it..maybe maybe I SAY MAYBE 60's.

At 7500 it won't get out of it's own way. Leave everything the same and start putting 10-weights in until you get your R's to 8100 on a loaded pull. You might find it will pull 8100 for a bit and then drop off and feel like you are stuck in third gear. Then you can buy a combo of helix springs...to weight spring primary to best suite your style and conditions. Lots of poor setups look for a little higher R"s on the trail or unloaded setup like 8200 even 8300 and it feels good. Then they drop off to 8200 or 8100 on a load and guys like that. That is ok if your belts live and you don't build too much sheave heat but ideal clutching goes to your RPM and holds irregardless of load. The closer you get to this magical spot the higher performance your sled achieves in point a to point b duration. The challenge is finding the combo's that net this result. It has to do with all aspects of your sleds performance so it's tough to dial as ONE ABSOLUTE program.
