I'm just not sure I can vote for McCain-Palin

The longer this goes, the more I'm not sure I can vote for McCain-Palin. Sure I'm a registered Republican and agree with almost every position they have, but I'm getting really tired of hearing "snowmachine". I was encouraged with Todd Palin's interview on Fox News when he referred to them as sleds, but everyone in the media now calls them snowmachines. I own a snowmobile!

I guess it could be worse, they could call them all skidoo's, ay.

Well if you get time you can come to the dinner and concert tonight in Beverly Hills with Barack Obama and guest star Barbara Streisand.

Dinner is $28,500 and if you stay for the concert it is another $2500 topping it off to a cool 31 grand for dinner with a room full of California Democrats.

Are you sure you don't want what California has to offer. There is more oil off shore from Santa Barbara to SanDiego than anywhere else off shore in the 48 states.

Yet the Democratic controlled Congress refuses to even vote on it. In fact Pelosi tables it and adjourned for a 5 week vacation. Oh wait now they are back and do want a vote after oil hit $140 a barrel. But the Democratics only want to drill past 100 miles from shore giving states the right to allow drilling from 50to 100 miles. Present bill gives states no roalties for oil produxction.

And yep you guessed it. MOST OF THE OIL (80%) OFF OF CALIFORNIA'S COAST IS 3 TO 20 MILES YET THE DEMOCRATS WANT TO AUTHORIZE DRILLING PAST 100 MILES.

That makes sense ... mnaybe they should blame the lameduck president?

Oh ya Bill Clinton appointed the managers who contriolled Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac so they could lower the loan standards for mortgages so low income people could buy a home.

Funny you mention a chauffeur. The first thing NANCY PELOSI did as the speaker was get a fleet of limo's plus an airplane as big as AIR FORCE ONE and fly off to a known terrorist state of JORDAN.

Yah politicians seem to hear that democrants (and the rest of the world) want a clean environment, but would rather go overboard about it, then listen to the other issues, like proper spending and the perpetuation of welfare communities.... I know many democrats civilians and they don't believe a lot of the things that people here think they do........

Oh, and my name is pretty descriptive of my riding style, so better is a very subjective word.... like better at falling off, better at hitting the only fricken stump on the hill, better at getting stuck on flat ground, better at rolling my sled over on top of me.... twice... in 10 feet.....

I don't know I bought a 900 RMK 166 and get alot of double looks riding out here in California popcorn.

I can't agree with you more with the system being out of touch with the common folk.

My Dad is a die hard Democrat but he is completely out of touch with what the issues are today. Then again he is from a past generation who believes in duty to country before one's own needs.

I pray all politicians will put the country first. But what the heck I like the slogan when hell freezes over I'm gonna go ride there.
