Im jumping from Doo to a assault 800 144 or a rmk 600. can anyone tell me what hp the 600 and 800 put out. My main reason for jumping is I want more reliability so how do the polaris motors hold up.

the 600 motor is damn near bulletproof. I'm sure you are aware of the issues of the previous cfi4 800 motor, the newer cfi2 800 has seen very limited problems

As with any mechanical device there will always be ones that fail and those that run seemingly forever. How you treat it and a certain amount of luck can go a long way

I had an 600 left it for an 800. Loved the 600 but as I mature my mass increases and my friends were leaving me behind on their M8's. I was told the 600 was 120 to 125 at he time may be up some now. Had an 10 800 no problems but I was ready for a problem every ride. Sold it for a 12 pro because of the ride in the trees, I live there. Have not heard a reliable number for the 12 pro.

I ride both 600's: etec trail sleds and cfi powder sleds. Haven't tried my 012 600 RMK engine yet, but as of last year I thought the etec was a bit better once broke in. Very similar fuel use by the way, don't believe the etec hype on this front (once the throttles open...) But I only know the 600's.
