good article. I agree 100% with the opening paragraph.
The paragraph that really struck me when I read this last week is this one:
"For a century, an ambitious, arrogant, unscrupulous knowledge class -- social planners, scientists, intellectuals, experts and their left-wing political allies -- arrogated to themselves the right to rule either in the name of the oppressed working class (communism) or, in its more benign form, by virtue of their superior expertise in achieving the highest social progress by means of state planning (socialism)."
The description covers so much of what is wrong.
It surprises me it took so many days for this column to show up on Snowest. I figured someone was going to grab and post it quicker; I am glad someone had a minute to do so.

krauthammer is a very astute observer... good thing he's only paralyzed from the waist down instead of the neck up like most loony lefto-whack jobs...
