If your current sled was a 9r 155 pro what would you choose for 2nd machine? Any brand!

I was going to turbo the 9r, but it works so perfectly now I am considering getting another machine and not touching the 9 except for clutching and a titanium can.
I really like the 165 2025 turbo doo expert, the navy blue spring only model or snow check. The weight is concerning but a ti can would get it close to the polaris. I was looking at one today and the fit.n finish is better than polaris no question. Engine is killer. How do the respond to tuning and mods like the factory boost? That adjustable limit strap deal is sick. Polaris choice would be a 165 khoas.

If you love the 9r is would probably get a boost. Then it's the same chassis. It would be a 25 or 26 for me. Hoping they got rid of problems.
I'm probably the least brand loyal person out there. I like them all. I wouldn't be against the turbo doo either. That is my favorite motor out of all of them. Just 2 different machines. Doo trenches some but climbs better. More playful also. Poo works better in trees. I'm not a fan of expert spindle in less than ideal snow. Steer twice as easy because of it but you steer them a bunch more to get the same thing done. They are heavier but ride lighter than poo in deep snow.

Whatever I do, the 2nd machine will be a 165 turbo for those bottomless days. The doo is heavier but adding the rpm titanium can brings the weight down 11 lbs and the doo is then less than 10 heavier over a 165 boost poo. Polaris nailed this 9r engine. Thing is a fuc.ing beast. Runs very clean and crisp and has amazing low end snap, especially at 3k feet.

I have 2 22 850 NA Khoas 155s. I just bought a 25 Khaos Boost 155. It took me a while to decide on the boost over the 9R. The main reason is becuase I ride 10k+ ft exclusively. If I was riding lower elevation I likely would go 9R. Truth be told though after 2 days on the boost it feels exactly like my 850s just noticably more power. People talk about the boost being heavier and more of a workout but...I cant feel the difference. If anything the boost feels lighter becuase of the superior power. Polaris got it right on the 25s.

Damn hard to to buy the 2025 do expert 165 turbo. 2k off and zero interest. No reason to use my own cash at all. That navy blue o w looks sick. And Adjustable limit strap??!! What!

I have a boost and buddy has a G5 turbo. After riding both IMO the power is pretty equivelant. Handling wise the G5 feels like a half sunk boat to me and the boost feels like a nibble goat. Might just be rider preference.
I have a 2024 9r pro, but I want a boosted machine for wide open climbs or chutes. I always lean towards polaris but it's hard to ignore the deals on doo right now. 0% interest is always hard to pass on.

For what your talking you'll be happy. Most of what you will get on here is brand loyalty. If you love polaris and jump on the doo, for a minute, it will seem weird. This also goes vice versa. There are thing each do better or worse than the other. One of the main things is the steering. People will say one is better than the other. I don't think so. All what you're used to. I can jump back and forth and it's fine. I can ride a polaris better but have more time on them. Order that sled up. Two great sleds.

Got the 2025 summit expert turbo r 165, it ran 42 miles and started to act up, bogging like a fuel delivery issue. no codes, so far dealer has found nothing. dealer pulled no codes, i told them i felt it was a fuel pump issue. Ridiculous for this to happen on a new machine that cost over 20k. I trust the older sleds with a carb more than this new ****, going to be great one day walking out 30 miles because a relay, fuel pump, servo motor, injector took a crap. This is the first new doo i have ever owned and the first time i have ever had a new sled break down and i have owned many since 1990.
