If a criminal says he has a gun while holed up and this criminal has shot people in the past for no reason and says he will again, should the cops shoot him to prevent any further killings? And after they do they find he only had A BB gun, would you blame them? Who would? I sure wouldn't

Neither would I! Does anyone remember that mental case that said he had a bomb in his backpack at the airport and the cops shot him? Weigh the consiquences, shoot him and kill one that said he had(and might of had) the capability of killing many. Boy, if Saddam did have weapons of mass destruction, everyones view on Bush would probably be a LOT different! Its fine, whoever gasses and kills thousands in a city in his own country, I'll kick the chair out from under him!

And if any one does not believe that he stil had a lot of CWMs or that they were moved to Syria, please google "al- Muthanna" and read the UN weapons inspectors reports. Don't believe that? I entombed them there.

He did have a gun, even if it was a BB gun. how are the police supposed to know what type it is? The cops want to go home at night too.

I highly doubt it. Most people thought this thread was about cops shooting someone; not realizing that you were putting the US vs Sadam thing in perspective with cops vs man thing.

If a couple of guys came up to your daughter and one of them slapped her on the behind and you told them to never do that again, which they only laugh and walk off. Then later on you watch them going around doing this to others only to have them come back to your daughter and grab her breast, would you talk to them again or take action??
