Identifying Rev shocks/springs.

I just bought some next to new take off shocks froma 2004 summit-x.

The deal was good, so I bought the set.

I noticed that the spring guage was thicker on these sets compared to the ones on my machine (2005)

Anyone have a front spring chart or info on the stripe colors??

the ones I bought have a blue and black stripe,and is 8.35 mm thick.

The ones on my sled now are green stripes, and 7.7 mm thick.

Also what are the numbers on the bottom... one says 505 0716 44 and the other says 505 0711 35.

Also I have noticed that by the eylet it shows 45j on one, and 377 on the other..

I am a shock newb, so any info would be great!!

Your 2005 Springs green/green/green are a 75# spring rate, where as the 2004 springs blue/gold/black are a 95# rate.

Basically.....they are a little heavier spring. The shock #'s you listed are pretty much identical rather than their valving.

All and all if you were to put on the shocks that you just purchased. It would be hard to tell the difference.
