My Man and I are looking for our last ride of the season, but honestly arent quite sure where to go. We were up at Buff Pass/Ears the weekend of the 12th and it was settled and rather crusty. Weve wanted to ride Vail Pass but havent had a chance... Does anyone have any suggestions where we might find a decent ride this weekend? We both have brand new Pros and really dont want to tear em up :(

We'd also love to join anyone else who may be looking for the same thing this Saturday, the 26th!

Hit us up by text if youd like - 303-709-4156

We are coming from Fort Collins, but willing to travel as far at Vail if we could meet up with someone who knows their way around up there?

There is still a major snow pack and more on the way, so I would not be worried about tearing sleds up. I would recommend the ears, elliotes ridge, grand mesa, Vail would be at the bottom of my list. Buy the way this time of year you really have follow the storms and ride the next day for the BEST snow.

Our club will be having an end of season party at Ski Cooper on April 9th (Saturday). It hasn't been formally announced because we are still working out the logistics. It's a blast, you get to ride all over the ski hill include some great riding on Chicago Ridge. We've done it for years now and it's a great tradition for us to close out the year (well, those of us that quite in April that is). Keep checking the Colorado location and I will post something up soon.

So when does this take place? Like the week after copper closes? I know if your aloud to go into some of the back bowls there would be some snow! I'm deffenitly interested in this! Keep us posted as you figure everything out. Is it like a one time fee for food and everything?

It looks like it will be April 9th (Saturday). Ski Cooper does not groom, but it is usually pretty smooth on the front side of the mountain. Smooth enough that a lot of guys drag race and play around. The back often does have really good snow and we are getting some good spring storms right now.

HERE is the link to the info.

And the Holy Cross Powder Hounds website.

Just had 2 great days at R.E. Fresh snow both days and snowed most of the day today. Not the end of the season for a few more weeks for sure.
