Snow report:

There aint none!

Whoever feels that they can bring snow just because they are in town, you had best just move on over here. We need your help.

I just drove through IP last night, It looks more like a Thanksgiving weekend should instead of mid january.

Everytime I go on a planned week long sleddin trip it fricken snows hard everyday. Low visibility etc...... This will be a first for me if it doesn't. We will hope the streak continues, because I just pulled into town and it doesn't look good. Plenty of cover on the trails to put some miles on, but not the powder you would expect in this area. Hope to find some good stuff out in the hills...

Went for a ride today and actually found some snow that was better than expected in a couple untouched ravines... Now that day one is complete the SNOW has started to fall.

Shelley really is standing up and she is really STUCK LOL

I have never been on such nice groomed trails. IP is a class act. Don't be afraid to come out. I'm even thinking of staying another week...

Got home last night from five days of great riding in IP, never got more that 15 miles(as the crow flies) from the cabin, you just need to know where to look.

The snow is really starting to stack up... Foot of fresh this morning. We had a blast... Come on out to Island Park. The folks at Robins Roost are awesome... The Owner came out to visit with us and helped out with gasing the sleds... Great people around here...

I only got one short video today..... Battery went dead. But you can see the snow is getting BETTER.

This was near Two Top. Somebody had already been in this little area, but we still had a good time. My camera wasn't on the first run, but you can see how deep it is when I go up next to my track and when I stop at the end of the vid.

More snow expected tonight....

It was snowing hard again today. Low visibility, I did stop and take a pic a couple miles up black canyon in the trees. It's crazy deep in places. The higher you go the deeper it gets... Crotch deep in this area and waist deep a little farther up the canyon... If you fall off your sled you will have a heck of a time getting back on.

Here ya go... Come on out and help us pack all this snow down, LOL

Hey man. Been trying to figure out where this is at. Can you direct me? We've never been to Yellowstone but want to come.

The West Yellowstone, MT / Island Park, ID areas are tied together via the awesome trail system they have here. If your into the busy scene in a town and lot's of Bars stay in West, If you like getting away from it all, stay in the Island Park area. Island Park is misleading as a town. It's really a 20 mile stretch along the Highway with businesses, lodging and bars spaced out so getting gas and groceries is still easy. So far because of the high avy warnings, lack of visibility due to heavy snowfall we have been playing along the south end of the black canyon loop. Black Canyon is kind of a high mountain valley, Plenty of fun untracked powder. The trail system is well marked. We have gps and track our routes, put it on google earth and have been able to find even more fun stuff off the trail that hasn't been touched at all this year... If the weather clears up Two Top is another area that appeals to all skill levels... This is my first time here and we came for one week and that just wasn't enough time, we are staying another week. People are super friendly and riding is awesome....

Veiw from Condo this morning.
