Idaho Falls AVY class Friday Nov 13th

Just a note to let everyone know that Idaho Dept of Parks and Recreation is having its first SE Idaho AVY class of the year next Friday Nov 13th at 7:00 at the IDPR regional office in Idaho Falls. There is no cost for the classes and this classroom course is a prerequisite for taking the field session later in the year. If you are interested please call 208-525-7121 to register, registration is not required but it is helpful to know how many sledheads to prepare for!

Snowmobiles

Since avalanches are the number one cause of snowmobile fatalities in the west, the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation is presenting a free Avalanche Awareness Class. These practical and popular classes familiarize the winter backcountry enthusiast with hazard recognition and techniques for safe travel in avalanche terrain.
