iceage rails: rubber things

What did everybody use for the rubber tips on the ice age rails. I butchered my stock ones. Also what about the rubber stops? Just use the stock one?

Help! Sled is finally starting to look like a sled :)

what do you use for the hyfax hold down bolt? yammaha or the polaris one? do you have to mod the yammi rail tip to fit?is the polaris tip bolt on or do you mod it? i have a set of rails comming and want to have all the parts ready to bolt on . thanx

I used the phillips yammie scew...you have to carfully drill and tap a hole for it. I think I had to cut the stock tips slightly but it all worked out. Use a small bolt and lock nut to hold the tip on....dont use a rivot.

Oh yeah, you have to drill a hole for the hifax bolt. I drilled mine in the rear as opposed to the front, like Polaris does. I drilled it in the lightening holes in front of the adjusters and used the Polaris bolt and nut. Be carefull to center it just right so you don't damage the rails.

I am trying to fit my rail tips on the iceage rails....are they really tight...I am having a hard time trying to make them fit......

Mine came complete with everything installed from Timberland. But I took it all off to get powdercoating done. When I went to install them they looked weird and I had them upside down trying to put them on. Maybe that is the problem as well they should slide on easy with two fingers. Mine did once I had it on right.

they are upside down, doen't ice age rails come with all that from ice age or just like that from timbersled I got mine from timbersled complete and them took everything off and sent them off to have them powdercoated

I don't think there upside down...If you look the square side which matches the sliders is on the bottom and the top is rounded......They did look upside down to me to.....plus the angle inside of them would be wrong if I flipped them around for the rail...
