Ice Scratchers Mounting

What is the best place to mount a set of ice scratchers on a 02 700 Mountain Max. I purchased a set couple of sets from summitseeker a while back, pulled my front idler wheels and and mounted the ice scratcers to the front holes. Since then I have put the slightly oversized front idler wheels back on to help save the Hifax and lost my mounting location for the ice scratchers. It seems that the Hifax is wearing mainly in the front at the curve so will putting the scratchers in the middle of the rail really do anything for the front of the hifax. Any pictures of where other riders are mounting theres. Any Pros or Cons to them on the rail vs. the Front skiis. Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

I have them mounted on several MM's where the second set of bogy's were mounted, even though the snow is kicked up further back on the skid it still cools the clips and helps the hyfax.

I just ordered a set from Mountain Performance for my SRX. I am going to mount them as far forward as possible. This pic came from their website.

They will still work when they are mounted further back. All the ice chips, snow etc will be carried forward by the track and will lube your hyfax and cool your machine. Ive been mounting them in the existing holes in the middle of 162 rails on an Apex and haven't had to replace many hyfax.
